Dear Students,

Education is the only means which opens the doors to wisdom, intelligence and progress. Following the ideas of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Dr. Madhukarrao Wasnik P.W.S. arts & Commerce College was established. It has opened new avenue for the students from marginalized section of society since 1968. In spite of many economic challenges and social hurdles the college has progressed and has secured “B+” (Third Cycle) accreditation of NAAC. I feel very elated that the institution has completed its glorious golden journey of academic excellence but I feel that we have to saddle with double responsibility towards the society in the post golden jubilee period.

Today the field of education has been hi-tech computer enabled and education has become the need of hour. All these facilities have been facilitated to the students in our college. Therefore our students are making progress and succeeding in competitive exams, technical fields and getting employed in various industries. I have always aspired that the students of my college will compete with other students on the global platform and have a successful life. Dr. Babasaheb ambedkar, being our insipiring force, had also overcome all difficulties and achieved a special pedestal for himself internationally. His life has been exemplary for many of us and I hope my students will also follow his ideal and make progress in life. I also hope that the students will become ideal citizens and repay the society with their good deeds.

At the last I would like to appeal to all who are the sojourns with this institution since last 50 years. Let us take this carvan of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar miles ahead in the interest of poorest of the poor and the needy and keep the flame of education alive equally to all.
